How to Use

Installation Instructions

1). Place provided label on outside of door near the key hole. This will warn a key holder that the KEYPOUT is potentially in-use.
2). Begin using the KEYPOUT by following the steps below.

Place the KEYPOUT on the door knob with the slotted end in the upright position and the smooth round end downright position.

With the door shut and the deadbolt in the locked position, select the appropriate slot and slide into position in behind the deadbolt lock lever/knob. It may be necessary to try different slot positions and test by attempting to open the deadbolt with a key. Always begin with the slot which is oriented closely to the angle of the deadbolt lever/knob.

When the appropriate slot is selected, firmly wedge the slotted area in-place behind the deadlock lever/knob.

To remove simply slide the KEYPOUT off of the deadbolt lever/knob and hang from the door knob below for future use.
